    Im an expert on engine importing, i have the credentials, you, however, think every civic has a CTR motor.

    I didn't say all,if I did I meant most, the hoods I looked under had B16b's, I had two civics in my time trust me i know all about SOHC, I know my Honda/Acura business I dont care what anyone says, I have been schooled by some wise people when I first started in this car tuning thing, I got stacks of Honda Tuning mags and piles of crap from a heavy research, so I know a thing or two.

    Go to Mandeville in Manchester and when you get there got to the car park and you will see, most of the civic that have d15/16 motors in nthe states have red VC B16B's engines, I know the difference between d and b, if you like I can give you the number to my boy out there he has a 4 door ITR and he can show you all the hooked up civics

You think your pathetic ass can school me or Mr. Kidd?! BAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA!!! We have FORGOTTEN more about Honda performance than you KNOW.

    You wanna know about importing things? Talk to Rupertaker on here. That is someone else that has forgotten more about this business than you know. Want proof? Look for his past forsale threads, especially the real deal Civic Type R he was selling and Pur Pur. You have a lot to learn.

    Why can't you let **** go? How petty can you be? This is an total different subject matter. Show people how simple-minded you are, I never in this thread or in my life said I know more than Mr. Kidd, that would really be stupid, his post put me on to alot of solutions to problems, and rupetaker, i know he has jdm stuff, and whats new, I really know him off ClubCivic, the only thing I said to Mr. Kidd is that I could find a cheaper B20 than Nad was selling, other than that Mr. KIDD IS THE MAN can I say it any clearer. I don't know you,so why you wishing failure on something that deals with my real life not no petty fourm. Was my post that serious? It was fun and games. You have been in the game 12 years and me 7 so I may can learn something from you because at a time you were a newjack so stop the BS and help a tuner trying to come up.

    Way back when everyone around here including me was "newjack." None of us were even close to what goes on here now. Back when I decided to swap my CRX engine the only way you could put a B series engine in it was to weld Place Racing engine mounts in. Nothing was bolt in. You ever heard of East Coast Honda? Me, Trey and Greg started this chapter. It was one of the biggest clubs on the East Coast, and had almost a whole Super Street Mag devoted to us. The bottom line is, I've been around.

    Put the other bullsh!t aside from the other thread and PMs. Here is what you are missing. We have been around longer and have dealt with more places and BS than you have and we know who's got what and what is good for the most part. No one knows everything. So you got an engine for dirt ass cheap that was awesome. Great. The point that Mr. Kidd is trying to make is while you may luck up once in a blue moon, you can't get a steak dinner for Taco Bell prices (my phrase damnit, not his). Say you get an engine from a supplier that is dirt ass cheap (like you say), you think that is going to be consistant? Absolutely not. For people that sell engines cheap, it is a crap shoot. If half of the engines they get are good they are happy. You want to take the chance of getting one of the "good ones?" The odds aren't in your favor. You are trying to jump into a field WAY too prematurely.

    Yeah i've heard the horror stories about the "stone age" of Honda/Acura tuning and having to fab stuff and not having mounts because of this was something new. I know its hit or miss with some with some of these engine warehouses, but if I have done business with you in the past and like your product/service I will shop with you again, I am pretty sure that is the case with people like yourself,Mr. Kidd and others, I am sure if you guys go in there you can get a B20B for $650 just because you have a relationship with him, I need to get to that point.......
