    Stay away from dealerships. Find a good independent shop. You'll learn more, and it will benefit you more in the long run. You can also make lots more money working for an independent than a dealership. Feel free to pm me if you have any kind of questions.....

    I agree and disagree with this statement. I hardly knew anything before I started 5 months ago, and now I am about to be ASE certified, and moving up positions and making hella good money. On the flip side, you're right about being better off in the long run, and making more money. I have just had bad expirences with independent shops, .
