5.5 on a savings account is great.

I've had one for about two years. One of my friends at work recommended it and when I signed up we both got $25. I havn't had any complaints. I've been sticking an extra $300 a month there. It's a little harder to get to, so I don't spend it on stupid things like car parts or beer

It would be a good decision. I have one with them.

The bf and I both have accounts there and have no complaints. I've had mine for a few years now. We set up automatic deposits from our regular checking accounts each payday. It's really easy. I think the rates are at about 4.2% right now which isn't as good as it used to be but still many times the average rate for a normal bank savings account.

I have a 401K to save for things far in the future but this is a great place to stash money for anything that may come up where you will need quick cash or save up for large purchases. Right now, I'm just saving to save. I'll figure out what to use it for sooner or later.

They also have a checking account now but I have no experience with it yet.

PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a referral. If you use the link in it and open the account with a $250 deposit, you get a free $25 from them.

I have ING and I don't have any complaints really. They are a really good company, but if you ever needed to transfer any money from saving to your bank account it about 2-3 days before it shows up in your bank account. Other than that they are good

I have one, no complains. But Im thinking about switching to HSBC because of their slightly better rate and the fact that they are present in brazil and in europe. They are also a much bigger company than ING.

I'd definatly recommend them. I've had mine for about 2 years now and I have nothing negative to say about them. I still use a regular bank for my checking account, but I try and keep as much as I can in the ING account.

I have ING and HSBC.. both great.. HSBC always has better rates and once you have the account open with HSBC is easier to move money around.. Ing is a little slower.

HSBC is a pain to open up.. ING is a snap.

    But both are great !!!
