Hey, everyone. I'm currently an employee up here at Auto Technology between the Big Chicken and the Marietta square in Marietta. The shop I work at has currently undergone some changes with some...under-the-standard employees.
Currently the shop is looking for a few more technicians. Again, I am an employee, and can't tell you exactly what the owner is looking for, or what he requires, but I can give you some basics. I'm MERELY here to let people know that Auto Technology is looking for experienced techs.
What Mark (the owner) will be looking for...
Tech will need to provide his own tools.
Tech will need to have experience (recorded..none of this "in my basement" ****)
Tech will (probably) need to be available full time M-F 8-5.
Just a little about the shop...
The shop is a relaxed environment, and personally, I enjoy it...otherwise, i wouldn't be letting ya'll know about the opening. But the shop has three lifts, a downdraft booth, a curtain booth, a frame machine...that's probably about all you'll really need to know about. We do work M-F 8-5, and we're open saturdays 9-1 or 2 for business. However, saturdays and after-hours are available to any tech who may want to stay (most of the time). We offer wholesale work to several local small dealerships, and, obviously the other collision repair type stuff.
Anyways...yeah, if you're interested, make your way up here. No need to mention this thread...just say rumor has it we were looking for a few experienced techs, turn in an application, and see what happens.
Feel free to post any questions, comments, or concerns, and I'll dot he best I can to answer anything I can.
