he is a DM. julio that sucks someone told you you were too young. thats BS. and yes-all the people you listed are still at QT, minus the ones you said werent or who had died. all good people.

lol i wouldnt wanna train people who dont care, id be MUCH more apt to firing them in training.

being the qt fan that i am, id say QT DMs and some SMs make more than that..but i cant be certain. im out to red lobster, peace.

RT FTW. Their station on Pleasant Hill in Duluth has awesome prices on fuel. On Friday they were $0.16 less than the local QTs. Pretty damn nice savings when you are driving a big Ram Hemi. She loves to eat haha.

I remember back in '95 when the other location on PH closer to Lilburn opened and had regular unleaded for like $0.75 a gallon!

They do hire NA's and RA's straight off the street. You don't have to be already in the company as a part time clerk or full time clerk.

As for me I started as a part time clerk and was going to college. I worked at 764 and it was short staffed so when summer started I was working 60 hours a week @ part time. Then I realized I should be paid full time if I'm working that many hours. Since I decided not to go back to school, I asked for a promotion and got it in March of this year as a full time NIGHT clerk at 707 (Which is pleasentdale rd.).

Are you surprised or something? I mean, I wouldnt be surprised if you are though, most people think is just a low paying blue collar job....

I mean, the higher you move up the more you make... Im a GM now.. Next position for me should be close 80k.. yeah, a Convineince store..

We have GM's making 80k+ Now.....

I know for fact QT is the same way... my last full year with QT was 2000, I made 58k.. Then, I left QT in June of 01, I was already at 31 K when I left....

You think I was going to leave QT for less then what I made that last year before that.. lol

If you decided not to go to college, make sure your priorities are straight.. Find a good company to work for, do your research about what ever company you are looking at.. You already dropped out of college..
There is hope for people without college degrees out there..

College is great, if you stick to it and pick your career wisely. I was a dropout =[

There are tons of companies out there with potential.... Cingular, sprint, verizon, Walmart, krogers, Brinks, publix, bestbuy this are some of the companies that if you start at the bottom, you can make good money once you start moving on up.. there are more companies.. just cant think right now.

On a bad week, I work 45 to 50 hours.. Mond through friday...

they hire NA's and RA's from outside. but they only hire 2A's and about from promotin from within. NA's are the 5 night a week managers, and RA's work 2 nights, 2 evenings, and one morning.

QT is a Corporation; asking for raises isn't that easy.

As for working there, i am currently employed there but i can't imagine working there for the rest of my life. It's the same shit everyday. I've been there for almost a year and i'm bored of having to do the same things day in and day out.

Ive worked at 804 for a year now. QT is definately a great fall back but not what im looking to do for the rest of my life. Im only 17 and have alot to make my mind up on. If QT opened a new division or plans to within the next few years then I would consider moving to it and working my way up to a supervisor position. It seems like the Atlanta division is just too developed to move up easily.

Man i'm the same as you. age and same future plan of not having the job for the rest of my life Lol. Even if they opened a new division, they would probably get the best manager in the Atl division to become supervisor. Working your way up the corporate ladder is all about who you know. thats why is sucks working for corporations.

thats a crock of shit at qt. ive seen so many people i know move up in short periods of time its unbelievable. that would be funny if they ALL knew people. or maybe they are known because they hustle and deserve to move up?
