    Default Anybody work in Bestbuy in Gainesville?

    I wanted to see if anybody here worked in the Best Buy in Gainesville. I was wondering if they are hiring part time. also does anyone now what the starting rate is at?

    My cousin does. They are for the most part not hiring. They only work some of their part timers like 1 day a month, to cut back on hours, and sometimes you can definitely tell they are understaffed.

    Best Buy is on a hiring freeze right now. This is nationwide. I lost my job after the holiday season. Those that are part time are getting extremely cut hours and schedules made not far enough in advance to make decisions.

    I know that they don't pay seasonal employees shit. I got straight ripped off as an installer.
