I will take that as an opinion. Because, following the part in bold, it seems like you want to be paid as much as you can for not doing any work. I'd be an ass to you, too.

I'm sure you're not under contract so why not leave if it really sucks that bad for you?

Damn, dude. You're 24 years old and think that Kroger(or any grocery store) is a stressful workplace? Wow. I'd love to see you in an actual work atmosphere.

Or the older people. The people with actual work experience. They'll tell you that you will NOT get a job where you don't do anything.

No it's not. Every store wants their employees to come in and do their job. Now here's what I suggest. If you want a job where you don't have to do shit, then you need to stand on a street corner and just hold your hands out. I would say to own your own business, but, seeing as how you are still working at Kroger at your age, you probably don't have that kind of money to do so.

A job is what you put into it. Especially remedial jobs like grocery stores. This isn't to knock employees of markets(I worked at Kroger, gladly for 3 years), but it's not rocket science to work at one. Later, QD.

what im ment was i work harder now and get paid less. id be real dumb if that didnt piss me off alil bit. see how youd feel going from making 10 an hour to making 8.25

I'm sure you're not under contract so why not leave if it really sucks that bad for you?

im there for the tuition assistance. and the fact that i come in with experience so i get paid more off the bat.

when your doing something you dont like and have people on your ass its stressful. dealing with asshole customers or management sux and you know it

the older people dont have to put up with the same shit as the younger ones. remeber the older ones have usually been there awhile. the kid are most times new and are the low man on the totum pole. why would you talk to the general about what its like being a private

yes it is ive worked at 4 different companies and every one is different. and im currently going to school for animation and graphic design. also i am working at starting my own business. judging by your little comment about my age i take it your younger then me. youll learn when your older getting what you want some times mean having to compermise, and taking shit jobs.

i work harder then every one in my department ive even been told im better than 99% of the other workers when they did my evaluation. ive been offered management positions (wich i had turn down because of time issuses due to school) im in on time every day and do what im told. ive never been fired or even writen up, belive me work ethic is not a problem. but even with all that i still have to take crap. maybe a job like kroger is fine for you (maybe u like being :idb: i dont know you so i cant speak on that) but as for me i have loftier goals in mind. being there is just a means to an end. just cause i have to be there dont mean i have to like it.

p.s. to the kid looking for a job if you wana work at a grocery store work at publix they pay alot more then kroger. but its your choice every thing ive said is my experience in the industry. ive been doin it off and on since i was 15.

i could write more but i have to go to work. another day in paradise

Well quit your crying about how shitty you think you're being treated and realize that a career in work will not be a sweet dream and walk in the park.

Who said anything about me liking to work at Kroger. I haven't worked for Kroger in 20 years. One of the easiest jobs I've ever had. Not hard at all. Even when working hard, it's till like being off work in the real working world.

You "have" to be there? No one said anything about having to like anything.

Exactly. "Your" experience. Which I wouldn't count on. Later, QD.
