stock buying for the 07

getting ready to go ahead and do this stock thing
also looking for somewhere that has a $500 minimum and low real time trade fees, been doing research with scott trade, sharebuilder, etc... any help will be appreciated

http://www.tdameritrade.com they only charge $9.99 per trade no matter how much it is. i plan on buying some too in the next few weeks around the $500 and i will probably use them since my sisters fiance uses them and hasnt complained.

what are you looking at buying? and for how long do you want to hold it?

i reviewed tdameritrade but i didnt see where you could open up with a minimum of 500 and get the 9.99 real time trades?

they are all different. i have looked at scott trade, sharebuilder, etc...
