Sr20s are cheap...... i would have sold everything under my hood for $3500 and i had a clutch that cost as much as your swap.
I'm far from dumb. Your motor may be rebuilt, but it has not run. Spending top dollar for someone else's project is just not my cup of tea. Your motor has no new internal parts. Did you even buy a new crank? Buy some real pistons and rods, bump the compression up to get better hp/psi, then come talk to me about an SR.
And keep my LS out of this. It would drag your car down the street. It took care of my brother's 20+ psi 2871 setup just fine. His new setup may have something for me, but you definitely don't

That's just motor and trans still need mounts and wiring harness ect another 1500 or 2000 for it to.ne complete. That would be 6k swap not 4k.
I'll stick with the rb25 s2 for now.

RBTax isnt worth it........ if you want a 6 banger... everything an RB can do a 2jz can do better and cheaper.
Fuck the RB. I say go with an elesjuan and spray. A 2j would be another good option but I think the lsx is the better bang for the buck swap.

Got a full top mount rb25 for 3k with everything for plug and play drop in and go...you could not get a 2j for that maybe a 1j
I got mounts top mount exhaust with precision turbo, greddy intake mani, just imported new clutch, trans, mounts, drive shaft and harnesses for plug and play.
Hes figuring out the shipping I still may keep the sr just depends on the guy coming sunday morning.

Im not a fan of american v8's. I like walking them on the high way. If I wanted a v8 I trade my car for a mustang. The motor may be cheap and better bang for my buck but the t56 trans isn't, then the mounts, then wiring harness, also would need exhaust, headers made, trans tunnel modded so it will fit.
Its a 8-10k swap. I just got engaged I can't afford the lsx swap nor can I wait months without a car why its being done.
Yalls points are valid but I just can't spend anymore then what I've already spent. I'm already loosing money going to a rb.

It's much cheaper than 8k, and why does is matter since your car's already been down 2 months? Odds are it won't run again either way.
I also figured a genius like you with an IQ of 129 would not intentionally lose money. That doesn't sound very smart.
