No detail missed. Looking good.
mmmm TYPP RRRRRR
very nice good sir, glad to see she is making progress. I expect some riceboy stickers at the end of this...
Progress!
getting there!
riceboy stickers where?
I demand a "nopi or dc sports" sticker on your car when she rolls outta the garage!
give me a nopi sticker
I figured I would give some updates since it's been a while....
So I got my hatch painted in the last set of pics I posted and then I got the glass put back in
Then come to find out the hatch striker are different lengths between 94-97 and 98-01. I bought an 00 ITR hatch. (left) '00 (right) 95
I put the 2000 hatch on before it was painted and it wouldn't shut due to the longer striker lock.
I then put the 95 hatch striker on and noticed it was about 1/2" too far forward and I couldn't adjust it back far enough. I modified it and will post up pics soon on that.
on to the next step.....
got the rear parking brake cables tightened down and also got my ss brake lines all routed the correct way. The only thing left to do under the caR is properly preload and torque the suspension front and rear!
I got lazy and didn't work on heR for almost a month and then finally got some motivation thanks some of the ITR guys and put my brake MC on and bled the brakes. I also sold my Legend calipers and bought some spoon twinblock :moneyburn:
on to the pics....
Bench bled the MC off of the caR first...
This is how she is at the moment.. I plan on finishing up the rear hatch so I can put the rest of the interior back together..
Love it! One if the greatest build threads!

Just read the whole thread and I can't wait to see the finished product.
Trend settin'
Here are the hatch pics as I mentioned and I just got everything finished up today.
First I had to cut out a section and weld a new plate in for support. I moved the hatch striker lock about 1/2" further back so it would fit in the lock due to the difference in the hatches from 94-97 and 98-01.
This was the problem I had with the hatch as it was slightly tweaked and didn't sit right. The driver's side was a little higher than the passenger. You can tell by the top of the rear window gap.
old driver side
old passenger side
after I fixed it
put new hatch lift shocks on as well
Bout time for some updates!
Are you willing to sell your original R rear calipers?
Edit: NVM, I thought you bought new ones lol. You did a good job cleaning the old ones up.
Since I have a few days off I decided to work on the caR again. pics taken with my phone
First I started off cleaning the garage and also bought a storage unit
Started cleaning
Cleaned garage and put the sideskirts on
I then went ahead and torqued all of the rear suspension
I then went ahead and put the passenger fender liner in and also the front mud flaps
I then went ahead and test fitted the front bumper and aligned the hood
Come get these lugnuts!
The mugen ones! You still want em?
It's a brand new R!
Where's the motor? Putting the LS back in? Lol

A few updates...
Got the interior finished minus the glove box
the dogs wanted to sit in the caR
Also bought a tow strap a while ago and mounted it up to and also had it sticking out to see if it interfered with anything
I like that last pic because it looks like my caR is making an interesting face
this shit is crazy
