Sorry this has been kind of slack guys. I just have been busy.
Tossed some new pads on the car Saturday morning and took a day trip to the tail of the dragon:
I wasn't expecting much since the car is bone stock but it did surprisingly well. I did boil the clutch fluid and lost my clutch pedal a handful of times and the brakes did fade some...but hey its a 8 year old stock car. Did manage to run down a few street bikes and had a ton of fun! Can't wait to get back out there with the JRZ's, big brake kit and sticky tires....
Probably should of flushed ur brake fluid before going up the mountains to run around, I wouldn't risk the car and my life on 8yr old brake fluid.Sorry this has been kind of slack guys. I just have been busy.

I wasn't driving the car 10/10th's or doing anything that was past the cars abilities. When I felt the brake peddle getting mushy I would stop pushing the car.
Decide on what wheels you're going to get? You can text it to me if you want to be hush hush...
LMK when you want to do another day trip. We could probably get a small group together.

Oh God, I forgot about this thread, sorry guys. I'm sure I will end up making a thread when all the mods go on but I have decided to do ten track days the way the car is, stock except for me swapping in a set of Carbotech XP10 front/XP8 rear pads and ALL Motul fluids through-out the car. This way I don't handicap my driving with a properly set-up car. A stock Z is kind of sloppy, if I learn that drive it fast the way it is then I will be that much better once it is modified. Three days down, seven to go before I can start modding lol

THAT^ haha.....tracking isn't cheap and it is hard on the car. It is a lot of fun though. I'd rather have an hour on AMP with my Z than an hour on the street in a 1000whp GT-R.

I won't beI'll be at the Znationals car show and dyno day at Z1 that day.....then I'll be at Barber the next day for the Znationals event, but I'll be doing photos and video so no track time for me
I will be driving AMP this Saturday(member day) then AMP next Saturday and Sunday for this event....you really need to look into it, me and a friend are splitting the cost

You can always get a small fix or get your feet wet with SCCA PDX at Road Atlanta. $100, any car can run as long as it passes a basic tech inspection.

It isn't fast at all, my max speed in my Z is like 90-ish but it is a very fun and technical track. The blind corners and elevation changes are a blast.
AMP member day today
There has been a massive improvement in my driving, I got into the 30's today at AMP with a 139.9! LOL! Barely but I got there. Still stock besides carbotech pads and still on all seasons!
