Thanks. I've fixed all but one tiny little leak. And that's in the works.

Oh yeah, and I decided against the RB bumper and the GarageVary lip is now on. The RB kind of looks awkward to me on some cars, and it doesn't work well with white all the time in my opinion.

I bought an MP62 Supercharger... hoarding parts and preparing for the install. That's all.

Well, a few other little things like:

    ^and that's not even a completed pic.

I have done more, just no pics.

Edit: My buddy got a Raptor... check it out! haha

Well, the fella called me and told me that the SC was making some bearing noise after I paid him... luckily he gave me my money back and we parted ways happily. I'm still looking for boost but I'm on a limited budget.

Oh yeah, I'm trading my hardtop for an OEM this weekend. I want a matching whenever I get paint soo.... yeah. Bye bye CF. haha

    too bad about the SC.

good choice on the HT though, i mean unless you're doing serious racing CF just seems unnecessary to me.

At least try to get cash+OEM for the top. Then you can add more money to the boost fund.

I have a 7lbs and a 9lbs pulley for a jrsc, so if you end up getting one, lmk.

Uhhh... I have parts of an MP45 kit. Blower, crossover tube (with Gm sensor), some brackets and an intake no electronics. I bought them off of Dr. Drew on mx5atl, supposedly the blower only has 18,000 which OGF confirmed since Dr. Drew bought it from him.

Missing the inlet and outlet (on the blower, not sure what you call them... These things... http://www.miatamania.com/Shop/ViewP...eIndexID=77561 and http://www.miatamania.com/Shop/ViewP...eIndexID=77546) pieces and maybe a couple other things... Never put it on so I'm not sure. I've decided to stay NA.

I'll give you a good price for it if you're interested in piecing it back together, if not... Well then fuck you. LOL J/K.

Wah!? I did not see this at all. I just told Jack, mx5atlanta founder (or co-founder... something), that I was gonna be picking up most of a turbo kit from him this week. PM'd good sir.

In other nooz to keep us on topic:

I just bought a Prothane bushing kit for the car. Looking for an extra set of control arms to putem in.

And got an amazing deal on some turbo stuff. Copied and pasted from FS ad. Will pick up Thursday!

Garrett T25 Silvia turbo - freshly rebuilt and cleaned - zero play, brand new
    braided stainless oil/feed lines
    R2D2 blow off valve
CXracing intercooler kit with pretty every pipe in the world
    38mm external wastegate
    pierburg inline auxiliary fuel pump
    K&N air filter
    autometer gauges boost/EGT/AFR
AEM Uego O2 sensor + gauge
    turbo blanket
    lower radiator flex hose
    throttle body with variable tps
rx7 550cc red top freshly cleaned injectors

    An idea of the parts:

Everything but a tapped oil pan (I have an extra), Manifold, downpipe, and a MSPNP. The kit is for a 1.6 so imma have to do some voodoo to make it all fit together.

    Future plans/goals.
Have the boost and bushings in by Spring
Follow that with better coilovers and some good rubber. Probably up the ride height to eliminate spring preload.
Aesthetically I want a nice new coat of white: I won't expand into all the goodies I want. It's just sad... and it spills over into a 'dreams' category. NOT PLANS

Yeah, that's not going to happen. You need a 1.8L manifold.

Yeah... That's why I'm buying everything but the manifold and downpipe.

I was saying that I'm going to have to find a manifold similar to the 1.6 and have a downpipe made to work with the 1.8 exhaust and the external wastegate.

Not a bad looking start at all...I'm hoping to order some parts for the Miata within the week.

good to see someone else making progress. How much boost are you planning on running?

The Prothane kit is supposed be to a bit more durable and harder than the Energy Suspension kit. It's also a little cheaper. The reason I didn't go with the ES is because I don't want to have to be replacing bushings more often. I've seen a few people have to go through more than 2 sets. It's a bitch job and I don't want to do it too often.

Well, I'm actually getting Echo's SC kit. It's funny how quickly plans can change. The M45 JRSC is what I was originally looking for. My plans elevated from there up to an M62... then the T25 Kit above. I decided for simplicity I would go with the M45. Plus, I got a good deal.

With it, I am planning on going TDR intercooled with some 550cc ev14 injectors and a 9lb pulley. I want an MS, but we'll see how it goes. I'm a little scared of it. Everything is subject to change as well. I guess I go where the good deals are. We po college kids.

yeah I know how plans can change quickly, been there done that plenty of times. still, great progress though.

    amen to that.

oh, and don't be scared of MS. it's not all that bad at all. my buddy is running it on his turbo NB running 20lbs and water/meth etc. It's a great tool to have.

Now, I emailed Moss about they're extremely simple NO PS NO AC tensioner setup to see what they can do for me, and I'm sourcing some other things to get that baby on.

This build really is coming along nicely. I like the path you are taking with it's looks. I'm just as picky, when it come to being presentable.

And that Raptor looks like it could eat 2 mx5's.

    Ok, in the mail is:

Tubular TDR front and rear sways
Some much needed silicone radiator hoses
All remaining bractetry and hooplah to get the SC mounted
And a set of differential bushings.

More pics when they arrive. But she turned 200000!

What sizes are they? BC I only know of a 62.5mm jrsc pulley that'll get 6.5 lbs. Unless you have the crank overlay 9lb pulley?

    This is the thought process.

"Well, I bent the inner tie rod. I'm gonna have to pay for an alignment after I fix it. Don't wanna ruin the other new set of Star Specs I get. And something was fucked with my alignment last time. They couldn't get it right. Probably the Alignment bolts going.

Might as well get some OEM bolts while I'm under there... might as well get some new OEM R Package Tie Rod Ends too... Might as well do my bushings... might as well paint and restore my Control Arms... Might as well install those I.L. Motormounts I got from RSpeed (aka Heaven)... might as well install that 949 Clutch line I haven't done yet. ...Might as well get a new set of Star Specs since 2 are ruined"

I hurt. Mind you all, I have a dirt and gravel driveway. Those pics from the swap were at a friend's house. I was working at night, in the rain 24/7. It's my only car, lol.

NO PICS AT ALL. But, I got it done with $0 in the Bank and a couple maxed Credit Cards. I was so broke that I had to order the tires in pairs from different accounts... not as a set.

But I know you fellas love pics.

Got a deal on some DDMWorks. Still very dirty.

    Then.

I went to Rod Run in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. I got Rearended by a Redneck in a Cummins Diesel.

It's cool, because it paid for half of this.

But first, lets get some reference photos.

You can't see much of the damage caused by the rear-ending in the pic. The trunk was already that color.

Last pic of the car before paint.

Then came the body work. There were lots of little dings to fill. Most of what is here was caused by the accident though. The truck was so jacked up that it was all the way up in my interior. Lucky I had the top off or it would have ruined my hard top. It basically wrapped around the car and made all sorts of damage.

Put it on jack stands for the backs! The guy who did the body work has been doing it for 53 years! He was awesome.

Although, it was strange. The only thing that I haven't done to the car with my own bare hands. I guess some things are better left in the hands of professionals.

Decided to get some East Coast Miata mirrors instead of paying for the Ogre Ears to get re-done. Good choice IMO. If you're tall, they're probably not so useless! haha

I'm gonna tinker with the mirrors and put them on like this.

This is with the pass side on the driver's side. It looks really cool but I'm going to have to do a little modification so that I can actually see out of them. It's no fun without function!

So, I can't decide which front lip to go with. The R Package lip won't match Feed Skirts, that I plan on getting. Unless I go with a splitter under. I've been considering that for a lonnng time.

The Garage Vary that I already have is a bit played out for a number of reasons. I'm considering trying an Autokonexion, and the Trap just looks awkward most of the time to me. I love the idea, but not so much the execution.

Obviously, I'm partial to the rear of my car and the way it looks right now.

ps - please don't tell me how awful I am with a Camera. One day I will have the time to give it a shot.
