Any motor swap plans in the future??? Newer D-series perhaps?
I have a "swap" now. And no on a newer engine. Check the first post where I said I was doing this all stock. Later, QD.Quote:

Off the top of my head I think the mirrors go somewhere over the wheel wells.Quote:

It's kind of like different trim levels. There was the Civic 1200 and the Civic CVCC. The 1200 came in in 1973 and went on til 1979. The CVCC engine (which is a 1500 engine) popped in in 1975 and went until 1979, although the CVCC design was used in all model Civics up until around 1988. But the actual badging of the car as a CVCC ended in 1979. Back in the 70s, it was kind of like the difference in a DX or EX, ya know. The CVCC model had more options in the car, like an AM/FM radio whereas the 1200 had only an AM radio. I have a CVCC and Baby J has a 1200. Later, QD.Quote:

you should get a Jack in the box motorcycle helmet and drive with it on.
wouldn't be caught alive in that thing
i've got a customer that has a 78 accor and one that has a 81 civ ( accord is bone stock but the civ has a 1800, lowered ). they are both getting hard to find parts for but there is a honda warehouse in calif. and another one that bought most of the obsolete parts from honda in calif.
if you want to ask any questions i've worked on these old cars since '84 and am pretty knowledgeable about them.
im me
I love how all the front trim pieces are still in really good condition. I must say otherwise, with my '76 rolla:::
Thanks for the mention. Keep bringin' it::: http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...t_org/okay.gif

Ugly
Moving right along...very nice man! Hah, I like those fender mirrors.
:goodjob: :goodjob:
I think its looking good! The roof rack and mirriors make a big difference(exterior wise)... So when are you gonna start on the interior??? Sticking with the factory blue??
Looking good, can't wait to see it with some new paint.
Personally, I'd have to do something with the side marker lights (name?) while body work is being done. On the datsun roadsters, the '70 model has similar rectangular marker lights and I can't stand them. Although, they look more in place on these cars, since they also have rectangular headlights.
Preciate it, man.Quote:

Thanks again. Lol @ gas mileage. I fill it up about every 8 days. At $3.85/gal, it takes about $24 to fill from empty. Later, QD.Quote:
