well if it's more than 3k worth of damage then i could see them totaling it. That's not hard to do either, for real.. When someone hit the back of my escort it was $1,750 worth of damage, and all it really needed was a rear bumper, a tail light, and the rear fiberglass piece, which i could get from Evan's dad's junkyard for $150.
