There is 100x more jobs out there where a Recovery mechanic is needed verus a scout. The pulling a Duece and a Half out the water was more for shock and aw but the point to still there. Being in a situation where a Big redneck truck or winch isn't there and still get it out.

And if your trying to compare a scout to a policemen then they got a job for thats a MP. What does a scout have that you can use in the civialian world in 3 years when your enlistment ends. Nothing.... nothing that isn't taught in basic training that would give you a better resume then me or anyother solider out of BCT. The only thing u get is bragging right to tell all your co-worker as your stocking food at wal-mart. Look at Craigan at work a fucking Airborne Infantryman and damn near useless, he comes out the military with a worthless skill. And barely making it

Also realize the military is a big train they pick ppls up and drop them off just as fast. They will kick you out in a heartbeat. For medical or whateva. I had to go to a solider's funeral last year becuz he commited suicide and I just found out why last weekend becuz they were medically discharge and he couldn't afford to live without the militarys money. This is not your case but an example you need something to back u up when shit happen, like a skill and training in something.

Im not knocking you for joining military be no means, just the scout part. I honestly I think its a retarded. And I have talked to SEVERAL prior active duty soliders about it and NOT ONE thought it was a good move. I just think there is way better jobs for you. Anywayz I done with this subject and will not talk about it no more. You have done signed and locked in now
