This customer came in with a compressor surge issue. We did some inspection and came across a couple boost leaks as well as a possibly faulty BOV (GReddy Type RS). Customer wanted to dyno the car after so he could see what it was making. The car made 260whp as it was. We noticed there were some issues in the tune though and the customer had us re-tune it. Dan had it squared away in about an hour and the car had picked up 15 whp and was just generally a whole lot cleaner. We did end up replacing the faulty BOV as it had a torn diaphragm. The customer also had us install a big ol' wing that we had here from off of the Drift cars. I dunno if many of you recall the size of this thing, but its big. Big enough for me to second guess how it was going to look on the WRX. After the install though I was suprised. It doesn't look bad. The thing that helps the most I think are the Rally mud flaps, they seem to balance out the car when looking at it from the rear. Anyhow he was happy and in the end thats all that matters.
