    Talking BYT New Project Car won 1st Place

    Well thanks to everyone’s help Pinky won 1st place for Honda class at the car show this weekend.


    We need to take professional pics of the car ASAP. I have more pics once I download them from the camera I will post up.

    Thanks.. yup.. The motor wasn't completely in and didn't have the audio all in so we stuck with Mild rather than extreme for this show.

    Fenders, and bumper need paint, unless you are getting CF doors and rear quarters over layed. Just my opinion, but congrats on the win. Any engine bay shots??

    I have shots of engine bay on my camera..
    I need to download the pics..

    The front end I might leave CF for now until it messes up.. but the rear end I might paint the rear bumper.. and leave the hatch and rear valences (not pictured) CF

    is this going to be a dedicated track car? cuz i really dont see the need in all that C/F if it's onliy going to be driven to shows or on weekends! personally i dont like the way it looks w/ all that C/F and only half the car painted. but hey to each his/her own, if u like it thats all that matters! congrats on the win though

    one more question. are the bumpers, fenders, hood, and trunk wraped in C/F?

    It will eventually be a track car and maybe autocross.

    Only the rear bumper and filler piece is wrapped. Everything else is bare CF.

    I was told that jdm core support isnt allowed on autocross. you gotta use usdm core support due the rule for autocross. i dont know if thats true.

    wow! im really glad to see my work didnt go to waste. i did the conversion, the roof skin, and started the repairs on the quarters. but me and coulby could never get our schedules to mesh. it looks really good, congrats on the win. oh yeah, please dont pick at more my work too much. he didnt really have the best tools or materials. im ashamed of some of the welds on the core support
