nahhh dont wanna take off the gold. Taking it to spray glo on wed to see if they can remove it. dont really want to paint them cause i only paid $250 for them. $300+ to paint them.

once i get the rattle can off I'll polish them up nice.

replaced the alternator. A little problem w/ master clutch cylinder. They are bleeding it now. Had a little smoke yesterday but they think its because of the new exhaust and the fact the engine has been sitting for over a year. They are going to change the oil again before the dyno.... should be on the dyno here real soon if Travis can get the clutch working right...

The smoke didnt smell like oil which is good... thinkin its all the trash just burning out.

..... and another day goes by.... travis is starting to get pressure after 2 hours of bleeding. Prob will not have on dyno today.... should be ready for tuning in the morning though

Seems like everything is ok then. These things always seem to happen on builds like this. the little things always tie up the end of the release of a project. the smoke is probably like they send a combination of the trash burning out of the motor and the new exhaust. were you there when they fired it up? if it smells like a foul sour smell thats the new exhaust burning in. When they mass produce exhausts before they are stored they spray them with a protective coating so that they don't rust or corrode while awaiting shipment. It's perfectly normal usuall takes 2-3 days for the smell to clear up. My new exhaust is still burning in. BTW what do you think of the build up so far on my eclipse?
