Not doubting, just wanting to know a little more about the engine??? Is it turbo or NA, I have had a couple on my dyno that were supposed to be pretty bad on the street and none have made over 200hp yet. I have had a couple grocery getter nissans and Mazda's on that are 250+.
I am working on a B18-B16VTec- bored , slightly stroked and I am shooting for 400hp NA. I will be documenting all of the work and plan on using mostly stock parts. I think the only parts I will have to go aftermarket on will be the cams, and valve springs as the type-R's are not big enough for enough airflow at 10,000+ rpm. I have spoken to a couple Cali time challenge road racers that have hit the number and if all goes well we should be pretty close.
We are 100% no-BS as we have a Chassis dyno on hand to verify the numbers.
Just wondering what other folks are using to make sic HP #'s.
