    the SLR is great looking and a beast on the track......but i still think the 06 Z06 is the biggest bang for your buck

    lol... when u get into the category that the SLR and the Veyron are in bang for your buck is the last thing you have to worry about....

    lol,yea...but i think a souped up Z06(bout $80K) could tear up a stock
    SLR(bout $450K) on the track

    That's like saying, why buy a Z06 when you could buy a Miata and use the extra 75k to mod it. You pay for the quality, heritage and styling second to none. I don't think SLR owners have to worry about their roofs flying off at 30mph...

    lol,yea...true...those 13B miata are pretty bad,but i would take 50 Z06s before buying this car

    BTW, you could buy 4 CGTs for the price of the Veyron.

    Neither do Z06 owners since the Z06 is a fixed roof, thats the base C6 coupe with the roof issues which have been resolved and recalled.

    Well I retract my previous post then, LOL!! I thought you were meaning the entire roof like it was a targa, not the shell part.
