    Exclamation 3mm oversize Intake valves?

Well found a head for a decent price with following

    B18c1 Head

    3mm oversize intake valves
    0.5mm oversize exhaust valves

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    my current setup:

b16 Block balanced stock bottom end

    B18c1 head
    Skunk2 Stg2 cams
    skun2 ProSeries Intake Manifold
    Dual valve springs/Retainers

revs to 9k easy as hell

DynoDay was a big disappoinment .. only made 146hp because i was running REALLY lean, i know it could put down 160 easily
but found out on the way home why...injector 1 has completely stopped working,

    Ok back to my question

i think i am gonna have more of a valve to Valve clearance issue more than valve to piston especially if i rev high

what do yall thinkkkkk? or should i go gsr block or b20?

have you measured the valves? Are they from a different honda motor? I didn't think you could get 3mm oversize unless maybe it is a custome race-only valve.

BAD NEWS, the head is NOT holding you back. you need a better header, an TUNING.

i made 240whp with STOCK SIZE valves. Oversized valves are not needed an are bad news, ESPECIALLY a valve that much oversized.

you will have big problems with valve to valve contact with any camshaft if the valves are that big

Stay away from oversized valves in a B series IMO. I really built SOHC head could use it if you are REALLY tryna get more flow, but that would need to be an insane build.
