my take... lame. I don't know if they have changed but, I remember when they first came out, my old shop installed them on a civic and they were crap... dented the fenders, wouldnt stay adjusted... it was a nightmare.

    leave your doors alone.

Well actually, That all depends on the kit. If you spend the money and buy either a kit from Decah or Vertical Door Inc. you wont have those issues. The low dollar universal kits, Yeah even alot of body shops wont put those on because of that. I have the Decah kit, Was expensive ($1100) but they dont mess up the car in any way. You get what youpay for when it comes to those kind of things

If you car looks mostly stock I would not get lambo's yet. Now if its heavily modded and looks clean not ricey and its for show I say go for it.
Now if its like till mid - end of 07 before rims/other mods/paint then I would rethink and maybe go without them and wait for the next new trend.

it was the only kit out at the time, it was $1500. I am sure they have gotten better...
I guess it all boils down to, its your car, do what you want.

I think its a lot of money for $200 in parts and metal. In a few yrs you'll regret spending the money on that I bet.
