I hate to say this, but how much power your car makes doesn't matter for magazines. What does matter is if one of your sponsors has taken an add out in the magazine. I learned this the hard way.

I'm not sure how Euro works. I spent many years wondering why our cars weren't making it into magazines. We've had plenty of fast ass cars. At first I was told that their exteriors were "too mundane". Like the Evo was silver but broke the stock HP record twice. The Supra was black and it didn't matter that it had broken an ET record on street tires for a privateer team. Apparently silver and black are too common of colors. Then I started to see other Slower Supras and a Silver Evo on the cover making less HP. Then I had some discussions with some of our sponsors and some of the mag editors once I got to know them. That's how I found out how things work. I assume there are probably some exceptions to these rules......Originally Posted by R_Rated
yeah, they did say that my car was not as "visualy appealing" as they would like. They literaly recomended an aluminum or CF wing and to find some graphics I liked... I don't want to be in a mag that bad.Originally Posted by tracy

Someone needs to make a magazine about cars that people actualy drive and build with their own hands and money.
