    Default What does your car sound like?

    what car, what exhaust system, what else is done to it? Really I just want to hear what everyone else's car sounds like.

    Here's my car in July. '97 Prelude, JDM H22, I/H/Apexi 2.5" catback RS exhaust. In this clip I had a hole in the flex pipe of my header, basically running open header. The first few seconds I'm just explaining while driving up to a stopsign, so I sound kinda funny. But whatever...

    Thanks, kind of why I havn't bought an exhaust, I like the sounds it already has I just wish it was louder. Maybe taking out the resonator would help, but I don't want it raspy. I used to have a Prelude, and I do miss the sound it had with its exhaust.

    Stormhammer tells me my car sounds like the Monster Evo from Initial D live action... i think its the exhaust leak....

    Mine really dosn't leave the garage. People across the street think it is a tool bench.

    My GSR sounds nice a deep until 4500rpms when vtec hits then its like all hell broke loose its loud as shit....

    1994 convertible 300zx with custom set of flowmasters from axle back 2.5 inch pipes, new intake...and thats pretty much it. Has a really nice rumble at idle and low rpm's but gets nice at higher rpm's.

    That is a nice sounding VG. They usually sound more choppy, yours has a very smooth sound to it. I like the mufflers as well, the single 4" on each side that alot of Z32 guys do really doesn't flow with the car and it usually causes the aforementioned choppy ass sound.

    I dont know what mine sounds like, it was stock when I left but now I have a CAI a race header and a catback exhaust that will be put on right after I get back so it will sound completely different. Im hoping it will get a deeper sound to it.
