IOk, on a centrifugal like you have, yes, you can run a BOV since your TB is after the s/c itself. I, unlike yopu, cannot because i have a roots blower which puts the TB in front of the s/c so one the TB is closed..theres no air to vent.
On your car, the TB controls boost in the intake manifold. If the s/c is making boost at idle, then the BOV will be making noise all the time at idle and until the air pressure is equal before and after the TB.The best way to know is to hook up a boost gauge before your TB to see what it is doing.
As for tuning, the only problem is a rich spike between shifts and fast stops after being on the throttle.
