Default Cutting The spring Perch For Sleeved COilovers???????

Has anyone with Coilover sleeves cut their spring perches off so that the car will lower more???

These are the type shocks that i have. The lower spring perch gets in the way of the clooars going all the way down on the sleeve.

I need to cut the fronts so that the collars will seat properly
(Sorry for the small ass pic)

so has anyone done this?? And can I do it with a dremel, or do i need something bigger

If you don't understand my terminology, Sorry i'm new at this.

Don't have any yet. The shocks are already on my car with some Eibach SPortlines, but they are WAYYY to soft for me. I tried the coilovers on my stockies, which are exactly like my tokicos, didn't get any pics, and then promptly therew the stocks in the trash. I'll post pics on thursday when I install them.

they are all made like that. my car has the Mac struts. I can install them as is, but i'm not shure how low it will go. The directions say to cut them off, but i don't know if i need to take them somewhere to get them done.
