well what i normally do is::

go out in first gear. take the RPMs up to about 5-6k and let the motor slow itself down creating vacuum on the bottom of the rings. i do this few tims in 1st gear and then 2nd gear and then 3rd gear. for 1000 miles i dont really go over 5k rpms.

you nly have about 75-100 miles and then rings are set by then so if you havent set the rings by then then it is what it is.

i really just want to make sure that teh rings get a lot of vacuum from the bottom of them so they seal nicely.

plus i cant really go beat on it sionce the turbo kit is on now. and i dont want to put a lot of boost on the top of the pistons just yet. if this was all motor then i would go beat on it.

plus this first 100 miles i wil be changing the oil to get any metal shavings out that are created from the sealing process and i dont want to boost with meta shavings in the oil just yet

i will check my compression at about 500 miles hopefully i pull the 160 across im looking for.
