Best kept secret in performance tires.

Listen, if they're real cheap and you've never heard of them, there is a reason. Don't buy them unless you are just poor and have to.

They're called Nankang tires, just some cheaper model tires. Wouldn't say they're really performance oriented, just something cheap to ride around on.

yeah i have them on my fiero. i don't race or do anything nutty in the fiero nor do i drive it that often. so i bought some nankangs. they aren't bad have the same tread pattern as a Yokohama AVS 330 i think. Good everyday use tires IMHO.

I was not impressed with them, but they are not bad. If money is a factor, be cost conscious and go with a conservative choice. The fact is: most people will never driver their vehicles hard enough to appreciate the benefits and features on most tires.

    ^true.
as long as you're not going to track or seriously drive crazy in the rain or even dry,
you really dont need tires that are $200 a pop.

with that said.. im in serach for some tires and 18s are rediculous.. i may have to downgrade to a 16 or 17..
