I'm shure you could safely run a 2.4 S2K motor with aftermarket rods to 8000rpms safely, maybe beyond. It shure sounds like it would be pretty fun. I got the pleasure of driving a VERY nice JDmed out S2K today and it was fun, but could use a little more torque. It had a J's racing header, all under-body braces, recaro carbon/kevlar seat, mugen steering wheel, cusco cage, spoon calipers, etc, etc, etc. All I felt it lacked was a little more UMPH!

The 2,0 motors are already hard to make more power out of, so more displacement would naturally be the next best step to go in making a fast N/A S2K.
