Are the passwordjdm intakes really that good, or are they more for a show factor. I know they look good IMO!! I have an AEM 3" CAI now, but from the website (yeah i know - prapoganda) it seems impressive. LMK what ya think!

passwordjdm carbon fiber intakes. go to there website passwordjdm.com and look at there intake kits. Everyone says they look like a whale penis. I could not tell you what a whale penis looks like. Everyone refers to them as this so that is the easiest way for me to start a "catchy" new thread and still be to the point!

i got one and my vtec pops louder with it on......it wasnt so loud with my reg. short ram
eg coupe -???bOoSt???
short rams are always louder than coldair imo but yea i think the bigger tubing has some advantages but never actually owned one
The whale penis/j's racing short ram intake puts the most whp and torque than any other intake on the market..there's a thread about this on honda-tech you gotta dfo some searching though
I did some investigating on HT and found some interesting info. Was suprised to see the AEM actually lost power on some intake testing. Most of the time the filters are not clean and the filter is actually undersized for the application!!! < seen that many times. Def. going to buy one though. They are the pimp snizzle!

Yeah, 174whp on a mild 1.6 vtec build-up running the password JDM intake is no joke. They work, and that's for shure.
One of the best designs evar!!! GET IT..
It's the elephantitus intake, the PasswordJDM version is an improved copy of the J's racing intake. On the dyno with several build b-series we saw vast improvement and smoothed out the curves in spots...that's why the comptech from one of the race car's is now on my car. The PJDM one is also ABS compatible so i can get it now.

they suck for peak power. They make decent midrange power, but for PEAK numbers they have had shitty results when compared to AEM NON V2, Injen, etc. I gained 3 whp by switching to a NOPI #1 intake pipe over the PWJDM. They are cool looking an have that JDM appeal, but power wise, they arent that great
the best intake is a pipe with a velocity stack
