if you are all motor, the ONLY cams you should be running are the SKUNK2 PRO1s. if oyu have a 2.0l run the PRO2s

USUALLY STAGE 3 CAMS ARE FOR ALL OUT RACE MTRS WITH HIGH COMPRESSION. THEY USUALLY CAUSE UR CAR TO IDLE REALLY ROUGH AND MIGH CAUSE UR CAR TO BE HARD TO DRIVE DEPENDING ON THE LIFT AND DURATION.
comps are ok for the money I guess, but pro1's would be nice

that car has jun stg 3's , but the watch the idle when he cranks it up(their is a tach shot ) . this follows up with what mike said some what stg 2's with 2.0 but it is a 2.0 buiilllllt gsr with stg 3's. but yea mike its all motor. so tuning wouldnt affect the crazy fukin idle i have now? the car i have is untuned and needs it like a craqhead. idles a 500 and dies constantly but the engine does its job and gets great gas mileage when i dont hammer it and when i do is definetly a fucking rush like no other . thanks for the lesson guys
if you got Stage3s, 470lift, itll idle like shit, you need to raise timing an trim the fuel out at idle

buy the Rocket Motorsports M22x cams that Mike has for sale, they will make much more power than the stage 2 Crowers. And they won't break in three pieces like BabyJ's. lol.

PS: Hey thinkskater, the numbers you see on a camcard, (Comp, S2, all the major players) are USUALLY an "advertised duration". It's not true duration. This is to keep fuckhead low-budget companies to copy the profiles. I paid over 9k for my QR25 build, and I STILL do not have exact #s for my cam profile. That's why you see copy-cat cams around equal weight that do not turn the same #s as true high-end cams. Back in the day cam cards were legit, but these days they will "advertise" a diff duration than ACTUAL duration to guard the $$ they pour into R&D.

well generally on import cams what I've noticed is that they tell you the duration but not at what lift. So an advertised Duration of 272 might be at .62 lift or it might be at .50 lift etc. There's much more that goes into it than just an advertised duration.
