    Default Watching IndyCar..

And I am truly amazed, I never really paid attention to it and usually watched Nascar but this has me hooked. Even in the rain these guys have to stay out there and keep running. Not to say it doesnt take skill to run Nascar but its a totally different race when you have more than four turns and pushing speeds past 200mph.

the Indy 500 was a great race!

yeah IRL on the ovals is a spectular sight (even though i'm a diehard NASCAR fan )

i miss the CART back in it's hayday...that was great racing...turbocharged v8 with a push to pass button...and with drivers like Alex Zarnadi, Juan Montaya, and etc

back in the late 90's well even the mid 90's it was the best...there are talks and what not about a reunification between the two brands champ car and IRL. hopefully its a complete re-unification and not just a few races

The talks were that it would become a unified series but according to both owners it is a long ways off. There are a lot of obstacles to overcome with joining them back up, would be intresting to see tho.
