    Default 1st gen MR2

my boss at work has a 1st gen MR2 and he said he snapped the timing belt. i didnt know if these were belt or chain so i started up small talk and he said he pretty much just wants it gone cheap. he said one of the windows dont roll down, the sunroof is cracked and the situation with the motor. Soo..i may be able to get the car for $200. after a motor and other crap to get it fixed, would it be worth getting or would there be alot of money involved?? i heard the MR motors were pretty costly. Thanks and any info is appreciated.

u can get a 4age for $1000 if not cheaper. or a 4agze if u want more horsepower, still cheap. aw11s are a pain in the ass to work on though.

any mid engined car is a pain to work on! If your making 300whp in a 2200lb mid engine car it will be fun though.

btw, the 90-95mr2's are not civics. Turbo mr2's with ttops weigh in about 2850+ without the driver.
