Exclamation OIL FEED Q. ASAP PLEAS!

    okay, (Turboing a D16)

I just about have my kit done. It would be done except for the oil feed. I ordered a oil line kit from fastturbo.com (i think) and it looked like a great kit. But when i go to screw the fitting into the back of the block it wont fit. I have went EVERYWERE (Home Depot, Lows, Tractor supply, Autozone) looking for this fitting. The smallest fitting they have is 1/8 and that is just big enough to not fit. So does anybody know where i can get a fitting to work? ANYTHING will help. I WANNA DRIVE MY CAR!

Napa carries alot of those fittings, that would be your best bet...

Doesn't make sense to me. Have you tried cleaning the threads in the block real well. Also, take your oil pressure switch with you to these places so they can match up the threads.

I have just used 1/8th NPT with sucess. What I do recommend though, is the Golden Eagle kit that goes between the oil filter and engine block. It's called the sandwich adapter block or somrthing like that. Just installed one last week and it works great.

the back of the block is a 1/8 British Pipe Thread..What is availble readily is National Pipe Thread hence, doesn't fit..If you try to make it fit..You are in a big surprise when that shit breaks inside the block..Thats when you have to yank the block and retapped that shit...

Order it from ATPturbo.com. Its not expensive. You can't get it anywhere local.

be very very very careful when screwing it into your block, the threads will fubar very easy! i used a stealthmode kit with no problems.
