Would you buy a Hybrid car? or would like to?

I dont know about the maintaince for a Hybrid, but If it was as simple as buy the car, gas it and drive it. It would make for a good daily driver, and bring out the other car for the weekend.

I myself. . . no that $10k that I spend to save money, I could just keep in my pocket in the first place.

no, wait a few years and you will see these hybrids in the junk yards. From what i understand, be prepared to drop 8-9k when the batteries go out ever 5 years.

I've heard that before but yet to hear anything that backs that up. I wonder if that is BS! The expenses (that I hear) are one of the things that keeps me from really considering a Hybrid.
