Default HELP...My car is breaking up after 4800

Some reason my car all of a sudden started breaking up around 4800 and higher..it runs fine and doesnt skip or anything until it get up int he higher rpms and vtec engauges then it just start studdering like crazy and it will sound like it's on 3 cylinders through all my rpms but then i can hold the clutch in and rev it to the rev limiter and it will stop and start driving fine untill i hit vtec again...what could my problems be? oh the motor is a obd1 b16 swap running a jdm p30. Ive never had any problems out of it untill now Oh and ive changed out the plugs, wires, and the rotor button...and the ignitor..only thing left is the coil...could that be my problem?...im gonna go buy one tomorrow and see.
