from the sound of it, and from what i know about 4x4/awd the engine probably isnt a k series. Also the motor will likely be mounted like the s2k. Im sure you could find a tranny to fit it in a swap, but i only see the swap really fitting in a s2k.

Its a K23, and its mounted transversly, like a CRV, which is also AWD/4x4... The RDX is acura's version of the CRV... its DOHC i-VTEC 2.3L with 8.8:1 C/R. 16 valve. 240hp @ 6000rpm, 260 lbs-ft torque @ 4500rpm. redline is 6800 RPM. Only tranny avaliable is the 5 speed auto.
