Default need help on turbo setup

ok so i have 1997 acura integra ls with 177,000 miles on her, i have ALREADY BOUGHT a straight t3 turbo, manifold, wastegate, b.o.v. , piping, stage 2 clutch, and boost controller: i know i still need more: but i need to go ahead and figure my setup, my options are A) slap it all on with simple fmu or safc and boost at 6lbs and make a little power, or B) buy a new motor, with like 30,000 mile son her and get hondata/ uberdata/neptune/crome, get tuned and make a lot of horsepower, or C) take my bottom end rebuild and bore out to maybe a 2.0-(if i can) and put a built b16 head on it, and get hondata / crome / uberdata / neptune , get tuned and boost at 15 lbs and make a shit load of power,

keep in mind that imnot rich by any means, id rather go with A) but my friends gave me a good point that i have 177,000 miles on my car, and ineed to know what would yall do if u were me, or if i should do something else, plus i dont wanna put all this money into my car with turbo and make only 50 horsepower, please help

It all depends on your motor...Has it been taking care off ?....Does it use oil ?

Do a Compression test and Post the numbers...Also do a Leak down... A leak down will tell you how good or bad the rings, valve seals, valves are....Theres no way of knowing the shape of the Bearings and thats the bad part...This motor could have been rebuilt or replaced at any point before you bought it...

Have someone look at it for you....

But if you had the money I would rebuild it...Always better to build the motor to handle boost...Thats my ...

    Good luck with your car...

Sounds good.....160 is ok..as long as that shit wasn't 125/145/160/100..You know what I mean...Do the leak down and see how it comes out...If its around 15% then you should be in good shape....Lower the % the better..

it sounds like a healthy motor with the compression test results. If i were you i would just turbo it and use one of the engine managements you suggested. Get a good tune and save your money so you can build another block on the side....

I say not to do it at all since you said "you aren't rich"...bc turbo = $. It is not just slap the turbo on, tune and forget about it..It will require more maintenances than a NA.

    not necessarily.
turbo doesnt always have to = $$$

getting trustworthy parts, however will cost you a bit.
anyways, its all in the tune
