tons of bad info here, first off you cant just say sure you can run 8 psi safely b/c the amount of airflow at 8 psi differs from one turbo to the next (quick example, a evo3 16g will flow less at 8 psi than say a 50trim, simply b/c the turbo is bigger), so depending on the turbo you use will depend on a safe amount of boost to run, but all in all boosting=safe w/ the right components, i turboed my old z6 civic coupe, ran 7psi on a t25 and never had a problem with the car

okay, turbo size does matter. 8 psi on most kits that one would put on a GSR should be fine. as long as you make close to 300 whp, but not over that. it will make over 300 and prob last a long time. but then again it may not. 260-280 whp @ around 8 psi is fine. now if you make 280 whp @ 13 psi, then no, it's not good. HP doesnt kill a motor, pressure does
    00 Civic Si turbo
    ls/vtec 592 whp @ 22 psi

why is there bad info here? On most "Commmon" kits for a GSR you can run 8 PSI all day long on Stock Internals.. If the motor is healthy and not being rapped everyday.
So all the info given before your reply were good replies. + I would listen to Scotty,b18c1turbo, anotherRR, Halfbaked and Hyper50 over you anyday.

So stop with the hatting. C'mon man.. you ran 7lbs on a D series...

You shouldve Called Scotty , He wouldve show you how to really boost a D series... ah Shit, wait.. he actually made a post in this thread.
