    so just to make sure what do i need for my engine to be safe with a turbo?? its a KA24 motor, 2.4L, 4cyl.. fwd..

    Depends on what power levels you want. We build KA's told hold 900hp, some may never use it, but you can beat the hell out of it with 450 all day long. Stock motors can hold 350, how long? Depends on how you drive and how much money you want to put into you fuel and engine management. We have never done an Altima but we've done plenty of KA-T 240's.

    well the turbo kit for my car is 100+ whp at 6.9 psi.. which i know is low as hell..

    ^i know who to put you in touch with for a dope ass altima kit. he jsut sold his old car for 5k, but it put down a healthy 450+whp.

    If you fully build the motor, that will be the safest. If you are thinking about paying the rediculous $$ for a used 2.0 from japan, I would recommend just spending that money on building your current motor. I don't understand the craze with buying over-priced, used, and smaller displacement stock motors from other countries when there are plenty of better ways to spend your money to make your motor bulletproof.
