For the street he will probably run an 11.7-12.0 afr but anything less is just over fueling.

yes it has a wideband, it has EMS and a UEGO. honda motors like it between 12.0-12.5:1 especially on boosted applications. as long as there is no detonation, its fine. my motor likes it at 14.5:1 which most people think is to lean, but it doesnt detonate.

very nice setup. i'd rock it, but with a smaller turbo . after driving one with the full vortec setup (w/aftercooler and all that) it was just plain wimpy until 6k then took off pretty well. hell of a fun car to drive though.

The aem can monitor knocks by voltage thru the ems and as a fail-safe you can program the ems to add fuel above a certain voltage per volt.
