    Thumbs down knowledge performace....rant

Hands down knowledge has to be the WORST shop ever!!!! 4 months ago (yes 4 months ago) me and my brother took his civic to them to see if they could get it running. They knew in advance (little less than a week) that we were coming. We got it down there and they said they were busy and had some cars in front of us to finished then they would begin to work on it. OK no problem we though. He gave them a list of things that needed to be done and what he wanted them to put on. Well it sat there for 2 months untouched in the same spot!! Then after my bro. Kept asking about it they took a look at it and found a ground undone on the back (I believe) that we must have over looked. Well it started right up. It did need the exhaust completed (which they ordered the mid-pipe the next week after we took it down there) it was on "backorder" still. He wanted them to put on his apexi ground kit, install his brakes, install a base map on the hondata and tune it and get it running. They fiddle fucked around till my brother said he wanted his car back at the end of this week. So they through the things together and the car has no powersteering now cause his bracket “wont” work. Needless to say the grounding kit is in the passenger seat, the cars still on the stock computer, the rear motor mount was never installed and now broke one of the others. The car runs like complete shit. The brakes are about the only thing complete on the car (I hope). My bro. is going to spend today and tomorrow trying to fix other little things and installing the grounding kit. He even had Redline motor oil in it and they drained it and replaced it with cheap ass pensoils (sp). My brother and Melvin we really cool and he hooked him up on some good deals. That’s why we took the car there. We figured that they were a good shop………….WRONG!!! I wouldn’t recommend them to fix a fucking power wheel much less a car.

alright then there the worst shop in ATL. they had the car for 4 months just to find a ground wrong with it. honestly. they didnt do anything else that my brother asked them to. they charged him $150 to rewire his ECU harness and its still the not rewired. (long story short. he bought a harness prewired for a Vtec controller and now doesnt need it. so they needed to just take out the clips and rewire it back).

OK, so I don't like Knowledge, but I understand when they say they have cars in front of yours. We have the same problem sometimes. We tell people that we have a few cars in front of them and it takes us a while to get to them. People still beg us to take their cars even knowing this then they get pissed because their car sits for a while. I'm not sure of your entire situation but the waiting part I can relate to.

well they were finshing a S/C install on a S2K, some turbo stuff on a BMW and had i think a prelude and 1 other car then his. yes i understand waiting on it also but after 2 months my brother went there and all the customers cars that were threre when he took the car there were gone. there were other cars on the rack and there his still sat in the corner.... untouched. every time he called they always had one other thing on a car or one more car to do then they were going to start on his car. it was just one bullshit lie after the other.

    ill buy you dinner tracy!!!

well forone... i wouldnt take my car to a shop that would have a week wait or more forthe car, why have you car just sit there waiting to be stolen or messed up? after it sitting there 2 weeks. i would have gone somewhere else. i understand shops get backed up, backed up is a good thing, means bussiness and people like them, but if they say its gonna be awhile. why even bring the car there?

    OK. I like sushi

I tell people the same thing about bringing their cars down when we aren't ready, yet a lot of the time they still insist. I think you should be willing to wait on quality work, tho. Why just bring it somehwere else because they don't have a wait. Good things come to those that wait. These cars are people's babies most of the time. Why would they choose a shop and then bring it somewhere else cuz they had to wait? It's just the nature of the beast. Good techs and tuners are hard to come by and they are in high demand. It seems like common sense that you may have to wait for a good shop. I do understand that it is wrong if they are not honest with you, tho. That's bullshit. I feel like we actually loose a lot of business because we are too honest sometimes. We're not very good at "selling" people.

well we planed on picking it up after it sat for a month and a half. my brother called them and asked what they had done to it and they said it was going on the rack that week. so we left it there. we really didnt have the time to go get it cause i worked second shift and he worked first. so we couldnt get together the same day they were open. but its alright now hes got it back and will have it up and going in about a month.

my brother called them and left them a message saying they needed to do something about his car running bad and with how muched he paid them and the condition its in. oh yeah the brakes werent done correct either! both of the inside shields were bent aginst the rotors and scrubing bad. they told him it was the brakes "seating in". so he has to take the car back there and there suppose to look it over. they told him when they called him back that they forgot to look over there work and he thought that they put the motor mount in. the damn thing was laying in the front seat!! they also told him they really only like to work on "high end cars" (big horsepower i assume). they said there starting to do normal work and maintanice (sp). well i have to say is if i had a "high end car" it sure as hell wouldnt get anywhere close to Knowledge!
