    Default Where to start?

I just bought a 98 Civic and was wondering where to start as far as modding? I wanted to do some small performance upgrades and was just wondering what to get for a good price? Any help would be appreciated

what do you wanna do w/ the car? It's hard to tell without knowing what you wanna do... drag racing? solo2? track days? either way, a good place to start is good tires...
Please tell me if you think my car looks good. But don't tell me if you think it's ugly - only on IA

just get bolt ons for now, such as an intake, exhaust, headers, but I think the first thing you need to do is drop the car, stock height sucks

Yea I just bought some things off of ebay. Header, intake, strut bars and camber plates. Its got Skunk2 coilovers and 17'' rims. The car is in primer right now while im deciding on a color but as soon as I pick a color my dad is gonna paint. Its a 98 hatch with stock interior. I was thinking about gettin a full body kit but the car already scrapes going over speed bumps in my apartment so I dk if I wanna get one or not. The body is in good cond. me and my dad have done body work to get all the dents out from the last owner. Im new in the import scene so any help or suggestions would be good. Thanks guys I also wanted to put catback exhaust if any one knows where I could get a deal on that.

The main thing is to stick to certain things. If you wanna work on the suspension, work on the suspension. If you wanna upgrade the power, do the power. Dont do different things like, sway bars, then intake, then speakers, then something totally different. Cause you will end up not completing any set thing. I screwed around with my car when i bought it and bought a GSR head, then bought wheels, then a new head unit, then seats. Now what do i have? No wheels, no more seats, and a GSR head still sitting in my room. Just get you priorities straight before you get to far along. Oh and stick with Namebrand products or products that have proven numbers. Dont buy Ebay generic headers like Tsudo. Make sure its quality products. Im guessing you have a D series motor? Might want to look into getting a B16. Huge power upgrade and a excellant Base engine.

^^^^ if its for show then why do u need power? im on the performance side of the fence so i wouldnt know. but from what your saying i would buy some rims you like, bolt-ons, and work on the exterior
