    Default 2.5RS Turbo

I was wondering if anybody here knows if you could use the turbo setup from a STI on a 98 2.5RS. a friend of mine wants to go turbo and i was just wondering if this was possible and how hard it would be. i just figured this would be a hell of alot less expensive than buying a turbo kit from somewhere.

wouldn't it be a bit easier and "possibly" cheaper to swap in the EJ20t??

Yes you can. All you need to do is get a WRX intake/exhaust manifolds. Those motors cant handle much boost though.

www.nasioc.com has a lot of good info, just be sure to search first or you'll get your noob-ass flamed.

it can be cheaper. you do not need the intake manifold just a 90 degree elbow to the inlet. you do need the ex. manifold and uppipe. a wrx crossmember is also required. a downpipe will also be needed. if you are going STi turbo a STi top mount is best. I would not go a pound over 8.
