Exclamation What Kind of Performance tires are you running?

Need some new tires for my brother's Blacktop S13.

I know my options but want to see what you guys a using.

Might make a switch from the Dunlop fm901s which happen to transfer the power pretty well although they're low on tread but hey what are you all running?

    Thanks!

On my civic, im using Pirelli P Zero Nero tires and they grip pretty darn well, plus they didnt cost an arm and a leg. You probably know about this site already, but it helped me out a lot on deciding what tires to get. www.tirerack.com

Using Dunlop SP Sport FM901's right now... don't really like 'em much. I may switch to a set of Falken RT-615's when the new season starts... if new tires are needed. They have the tread depth of drag radials but they're streetable. =]

I can get the 615's which basically replaced the Azenis Sport wholesale but the wet performance is very questionable. I'm thinking about the BFG KDW or just going back with the 901 too bad my distributer doesn't carry those..

I've heard good things about the KDW.

I've always liked pirelli, I had the P 9000SS and they gripped pretty well, then again they were on 19's on a slow car .

I just got my es100's put on a few weeks ago. They seem great except for wet traction, not very good.

I have BFG G force Sport. Dry handling is superb. Wear is even, smooth, and slow. I know Pirelli handles above average, but the wear is quicker than most would expect. I know from alot of people that the KDW is the shit!!!

in the past i have run Pirelle SS9000 in 19". They were decent in the dry, great wear IMO (1 1/2 years). And it did decent in the mountians, just ask the GTi's and 240s i was passing lol. Also ran Yoko Avid H4s in 17" on same car. Good wear (over 1 year) and decent traction both wet and dry. Also i have run 712s in stag 17" on the M3, they blew lol wet/dry. KDW2 by far take the ticket for anything i have. My car feels like its on rails now, even in the rain she has great traction.

Man P7000's saved me in college.

They were the cheapest 19" tires few years ago, 144 + shipping per tire form tires rack.

    Still costed though
