I'm a big Subaru Fan therefore all around Value I'd say WRX STi.

But When it comes to Modding which most of us would end up doing as soon as they get raped by someone... EVOLUTION is the answer!

Stock I would choose the srt(Best bang for the buck), Modified(400+whp), I would choose the evo. AWD will handle the power a lot better.

$5000+ev0=fast highway car and dragstrip car

AWD ownz j00. only reason why i didnt pick the SRT4. the SRT4 with $5000 in mods prob would make around 400-450whp. and last longer than the evo, but an EVO with that much money would def pay for a turbo, manifold, exhaust, cams, clutch. it would be faster cause of the AWD.

the STIs are nice cars, but i prefer the tried and true 4g motor over the scooby.

I wouldn't want to roll in any of them. If you have something that is unique people look and stare and say holy shit did you see that. Those cars in the poll are the most common cars in the scene. You see one at the show you can compare there BOV to the 20 others that are down the line. you see them in every magazine. on alll tuner shows and websites. they are common. and not eyes catching.

my vote is other. if i had evo or sti money i would go buy a good car, like a slightly used 2000 m5 with a 5spd or a gs300 with a 2jztt conversion (i figure i could pull that off for less than the cost of an evo).

i voted evo. hands down. i might have said srt-4 until you said you had 5g's to spend modding it.

id adgree with evo or sti, kinda of a personal choice between those two.

well i'd honestly not roll in any other vehicle. again. i didnt want to roll in the truck that i had. but as luck would have it, i didnt have a choice in the matter. i got hit by a drunk while i was sitting at a fucking red light. i rolled. 75ft. and over a 5ft concrete sign. truck exploded on impact. my burns are my wings. got a 2nd-3rd degree burns on each shoulderblade.

ne way. all seriousness aside. i'd rather push a lexus gs bubble. i like that car a whole lot. and not the new one either. i'll take the millenium version(2000).

Well, just look at my name. Anyways, yeah, I'd rather have an AE86. It weighs 2,116 lbs. before you start doing weight reductions. With this money I'd buy either a 3sgte or keep the 4age and get the toda 200 hp kit then throw a turbo on. That's a fast car right there.

STi + $5k in mods would make for a lovely car, nice power, great feel, good quality.

1 and 4. the evo if I was going the newer car route because of driveabilty and tried and true drivetrain. But if I only had a 5k budget I'm going with my Xr4ti because it has insane handling, it boosts 15lbs stock it has a FR config and another 5k and it would own most all 4bangers.

im going with other. fd rx7. only because i currently have an fc and i'm one of the many people that have let triangles take over their minds lol. but out of the list of the others id say sti just because i really like the looks of them (besides the new ones with that awful front end) and they're quick as hell. plus u cant hate awd turbo

there are a lot more things to consider.

If it was a car to drive daily probably a evo, they have grate lines and are a overall nice car. However i have been told they are complete dicks about the warranty.

Also if its a car for you then why do ask this question. non of us on here are going to help pay for the car or the mods so you need to get what you want and what you like, also check your insurance before you buy one. You might have insurance shock!

I'd have to say other, just because I'd rather use the money for one of those cars and save and buy a *used* supra, 300ZX, mitsu GTO, or an FD RX-7. with $5K, you could make a pretty rad setup, especially with the supra. If I'm not allowed to buy used, I'd probably go with the Evo, just because the RS is soo much cheaper than the STi...
