    Default Mods or heart transplants

    I need more hp
I've thought about putting a 1275 cooper motor in to the little one
but that is so common and you are still limited to a NA motor plus its harder
to boost a carby fed engine, so I was thinking what engine mods have been done before. I've seen 1.3L starlet turbo engines in minis but they have had to move the front grills etc to fit intercoolers. I want to keep it lookin original as from the outside. So what can I do
But wit this problem i will need to stop quicker because drum brakes are bad enough on my little engine let alone somthing with 120+ hp so what brakes should I fit. I have heard of fitting honda 9 inch discs but never seen it done b4.
    please help
This is why god invented corners (mini)

people put gsr and type r motors in them, i would say do that and still get killer gas mileage...maybe a kseries swap that would be cool. i say check with some mini websites, and get the kits needed for the brake swap first.

Those are good options, but if you want to be able to source parts on the cheap and keep your weight balance a little more even, id go with a single cam honda motor, even then you have the option of sticking with carbs.
