Altima KA vs 240 KA

Is there a difference in the KA that is in an Altima and the KA in an S14??

One is FWD and other is RWD.

I know that. I was wondering if there was a difference in the ka24de, the engine it self. thanks tho

I know the intake manifold is different for a fact. As far as the parts being interchangeable I'm not quite sure.

I saw a ka24de on a altima and there are very different. The head on the altima has the distributor on the back near the left side of the car. The 240sx has the distributor beside the head when you're standing infront of the motor. EGR is on top of the manfold on altima where as you'll find the EGR valve in the back of the manifold.
