    Default Expensive Civics?

Why arent civic priced reasonably. For example lets a civic is worth $2000, but your asking $3500 because your dumbass just put a tow hook on it, a couple stickers, ebay lip, and etc. Now dont get me wrong, I understand when it has a nice swap in it and that takes time and work. Im more along the lines of a regular civic and just because you bought a couple of "JDM" parts, its worth more. People need to be realistic and come down to earth with their prices. Its a 20 year old car, what you put in the car do not expect it to get it back

i agree alot of hondas or any modified cars are overpriced. most people dont realize modifications are normally a loss when you resell and do not increase the value, i would reccomend that people modding thier cars save all of the stock parts and when the day comes to sell put them back on the car and list your car with a realistic price and sell your upgraded parts. i learned this years back i never made one penny off of any mod i put on my car not even stereo stuff or rims.....
    yes i am....

That is why buying a Civic for a daily/beater is stupid these days, everybody thinks they are race cars and worth double the book value.

It's no different with houses. I see people who are still trying to get 2005 prices, and aren't wanting to come to reality that their house is now worth $50K+ less than then. They think that because they added closet organizers or remodeled their kitchen or bathroom that they should get way more than all of the other comps. It doesn't work like that in real life.

It works like that with all cars new, old, modded, not modded. Everything tells u to have a price in mind go above it then meet people in the Middle. Like dealers that know a good price for x car is 35000 then pitch it for 38000 and end up getting 36500. Only time usually get a fair price is if the person jus got a car that's less than 5 years old and they need the old one gone for upgrades on the new one. That's I picked up my accord for next to nothing with upgrades and all

I agree with most people in this thread but there comes a certain point when people think there car is god's chariot and ask 5k or more than its worse. Shit like that pisses me off. If your going to have a high price atleast make it reasonable.
