Just purchased my dynamic seal rebuild kit from ebay for like 40$ i think.
I know I can get a rebuild kit cheap off ebay, but my question is loooking for a good shop to rebuild it locally.

Do it yourself... Its not gonna last anyway, rebuilt turbos never do unless its good name brand and you send it back to the company that built it... Been there tried that waist of time and money.
What kind of turbo is it?

I have one turbonetics and one eBay t3/t04e. Any idea how long new seals would last in an ebay turbo?

Ya just do it yourself..I just rebuild mine in the kitchen taking about 3hours or so taking few breaks. its pretty simple..I used this DIY with pictures. Garrett turbo was pretty wasy.

Domt know about 3hrs but I can do a precision in like thirty min and thats using a micrometer to check shaft, clearance and play

^ i said taking breaks..ha hardest thing was the snap rings for the journal bearings..need some "precision" ones..my snap on was where to fat. but other than that its a quick swap of parts and good to go.
my current ebay turbo has been lasting 7psi daily for over 4 years now with the given feed line restrictor.
Turbo diesel and electric in forest park, ga will take care of you........
ive rebuilt em for years and there is a new total seal for the exhaust side that has a center piece that interconnects between the two outer edges now by the way. nevermind this post is way old! damn im bored!
